The thickness of color coated aluminum coil is related to the coating equipment. Normally the coating equipment can process 0.3-1.2mm thickness coated aluminum coil. This thickness range of coated aluminum coil is the most normal used specification which can satisfy most of the applications. The thickness control of color coated aluminum coil: commonly, one side paint thickness is approx 15um, double sides paint thickness is approx 25um and back side paint thickness is approx 5-8 um. The protect film is normally 0.05mm which is commonly PE protect film. We suggest customers to use mid viscosity or high viscosity protect film to protect the color coated aluminum surface paint in order to avoid the scratch problem when corrugation or cutting and bending process, etc. We would like to point out that PVDF painted aluminum coil must be double sides painted, and PE painted aluminum coil can be chosen one side paint and two sides paint.
